Rossana Ceruzzi cares for the animals of Roosevelt Island - cats who have been abandoned, geese who have injured their wings, and a wounded opossum she’s named “Opie.” When she learns that the area is under threat, she makes it her mission to alert the community and fight the powers that be to save the trees and wildlife in the park. 21 minutes.
